Last Monday 11KBW hosted a free seminar to consider the Court of Protection (COP) and Deprivation of Liberty (DoL) issues which can arise where P is living in the community, whether at home or in some form of supported living. Particular difficulties can be caused where P has a chaotic lifestyle, has neglectful or obsessional behaviours, is acquiescing in their own abuse, or is resistant to help and support.
